Should Failure be a good word?

Share

Why does the word failure get such a bad rap?

If failure is so bad, so negative, so damaging, then why is it that most successful people have used it to propel themselves to success?

Could it be that failure is “part and parcel” with success?

Could it be that without failure, there’s no success?

Sounds crazy, but I came across an article that suggests failure can be a springboard for success.  In other words, failure can act as a launching pad for even greater success down the road.

I’d like to share the article with you.  It’s included as a link below.

It talks about 5 people who crashed to severe lows (e.g. they failed) and then came back stronger than ever.

I found the article inspiring and it gives me great hope.  It inspires me to not be afraid of failure.  It gives me hope that if I do fail, it’s ok.  As a matter of fact it may be the best thing for me.  It may propel me on to even greater heights; greater success.

My only challenge is to make sure I respond to failure with courage.  Face it.  Deal with it.  See the opportunities for success hidden somewhere in it.

That’s my challenge.

Now, for the article.  Be inspired.  Go forth and make good things happen and don’t worry about failure.  After all, it may be the best thing that ever happened to you!
