Wish you bought more properties 10 years ago?

What does the future hold for property?

I do!

But, if you’re like me, there’s no going back in time.  I haven’t figured out how to do it … time travel that is.  How do you dial the clock back 10 years and say, “Sorry, I made a mistake, I will buy that property after all?”

If anyone out there knows how to do it (time travel), let me know.

So, all I have available to me (God willing) is the next 10 years.  What am I going to do?  Am I going to take bold, educated, focused action … or am I going to look back and say, “Oops!  Did it again.  I should have, could have, would have …!?”

Why all the discussion about the past?

Because the past has been very good to property investors!

How do I know?

Well, first of all, it’s been very good to me.  Residential property investment has saved my bacon.  It’s put me in a financial position where I could just walk away from my JOB … so I did!

And, next, because – apparently – it’s been very good to a lot of other people as well.  I came across an article that talks about the performance of Australian residential property over the past 24 years.  And, it’s good news for home owners and property investors.

Will it continue?

Who knows?  I don’t have a crystal ball.  Do you?

But, will I continue to invest in property?

Absolutely!

Why?

Because it’s what  I know.  It’s what I believe in.  It’s what I feel I’m somewhat good at.  It’s something I really enjoy.  I have a passion for it.

Now, over to the article, Property the best-performing asset, but will it continue?
